This towering tree is iconic, and with its multitude of lights has been recorded as the highest living lit-up tree in the Free State.
“This touching memorial event invites community members to participate in a heartwarming evening of remembrance. For just R40 per memory ticket, attendees can have a personal message recorded in the commemorative memory book and witness a breathtaking moment when the Hospice Garden tree is illuminated with beautiful, coloured lights − each representing a cherished life remembered,” says Tanja Schutte of Hospice.
“The Tree of Memories get-together offers a serene and compassionate environment for healing, reflection, and community support. Everyone is warmly welcomed to attend this special evening and share in a peaceful gathering within the hospice’s beautiful garden setting. Bring the whole family to enjoy a picnic in the garden. Hospice will also be selling some food and drinks. This event not only provides a meaningful way to commemorate loved ones, but also supports the critical work of Goldfields Hospice in providing compassionate care to those in need.”
Memory tickets can be obtained from the Hospice offices.
