“It is in the interest of both the animals and community for the Welkom SPCA to be given a further opportunity to succeed.”
So says Maggie Mudd of the NSPCA. She says they are always reluctant to close any society.
“The Welkom SPCA receives large numbers of animals on a regular basis.
“Fundraising ventures are something that Welkom will be working on and the NSPCA trusts that the community will support them,” says Mudd.
