Vista is supporting Blessings Animal Shelter for Mandela Day, 18 June.
Kind-hearted readers and residents are invited to donate bags or tins of cat and dog food towards this cause.
There is an urgent need for food at the shelter.
Donations can be delivered to Vista, Office 31, The Strip, 314 Stateway.
Tilda Neethling of Blessings says there is also a farm animal shelter on the premises.
Donations of lucerne, vegetables, grain and feed for the ducks and hens, as well as food for the goats, sheep and pigs, will therefore be appreciated.
These donations can be taken to the Blessings premises in Alma Road. Enquiries for the farm animal feed can be directed to Neethling on 083 347 9377.
